On the 17th March 2014, Bulgaria celebrated its 10th anniversary as a member of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO), with an open day at its Graf Ignatievo Air Force Base.
The same date is also the anniversary of the establishment of the Graf Ignatievo AFB, wich was establishedin 17th March 1951.
